A bit about Markus

Markus Abraham’s consulting philosophy is simple: Things that do not make sense, should not be done. As a consultant, Markus is solely focused on the value generated for his clients. His personal mission is to turn consulting on its head – he has seen too many businesses suffering from consultants who become part of the problem. He even does not want to be part of the solution. His goal is to create sustainable solutions in cooperation with his clients.

To Markus, true improvement for his clients does not stem from selling a solution or methodology. He considers his assignment successful, if the client continues to generate value from his work long after his assignment ended.

His consulting has attracted companies such as IBM, Sanofi, Lufthansa, CGI, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, Liberty Global, PCK, Elf-Minol (now Total), Shell, BP and hundreds of other leading organisations worldwide. He has served as a board member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Information Security Committee and its affiliated London-based e-business clubs. advising member organisations on data strategies and information security.

Markus gained his experience by working with organisation of various sizes in a wide spectrum of industries including healthcare, life sciences, pharma, telecommunication, energy, Gas & Oil, Information Technology, Finance, real estate, wellness, automotive, utility, education, marketing, PR and dozens of other industries.

As a consultant, he is quite an enigma. He can be the specialist and deep dive into an issue or opportunity with razor-sharp focus. He can also be a generalist, applying his cross-industry experience to uncover innovative ways to create value.
